Tsubame BHB Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masahiro Watanabe), which undertakes on-site ammonia production at small-scale plants using electride catalysts, announced that it has been selected for “Green Startup Support” by the Startup Ecosystem Tokyo Consortium operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

The Tokyo Consortium aims to accelerate the growth of startups and support the social implementation of innovation by forming a startup ecosystem in Tokyo, thereby returning benefits to the local community and promoting the sustainable development of the Tokyo economy. “Green Startup Support” is an original initiative by the Tokyo Consortium in which startups in the Green field, which is expected to see rapid growth in the future, are selected to receive concentrated support and backup for growth. This support is provided with a view toward rollout not only in Japan but overseas as well, by diverse members who leverage networks comprising global venture capital and institutional investors. Tsubame BHB will accelerate its overseas rollout with the support of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
