Tsubame BHB announced that it has been selected for the “Project for promoting overseas rollout through collaboration with ASEAN companies by Japanese startups,” which is hosted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. This project enables Japanese companies to utilize growth opportunities in the ASEAN region, and provides support in accelerating international development.

Outline of the “Project for promoting overseas rollout through collaboration with ASEAN companies by Japanese startups”

As a project that promotes overseas development based on contributions by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) to the AEM-METI Economic and Industrial Cooperation Committee (AMEICC), this program supports Japanese startups aiming to develop business in ASEAN countries.

The countries targeted are divided into two regions – Region a, which includes Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia, and Region b, which includes Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines – and the program involves individual mentoring, searches for local partners, and attending meetings and negotiations. The goal is to achieve concrete results such as joint business, capital tie-ups, and joint ventures.

On August 27 of this year, the company announced the receipt of an order for the second Small Scale Onsite Ammonia System to be delivered in Japan. Recently, there has been an increase in inquiries from overseas, and we can feel a strong demand for on-site ammonia production not only in Japan, but around the world.

Singapore is a hub where many multinational corporations have gathered, and so will be an important base of operations for Tsubame BHB. Having been selected for this project, we will begin full-scale efforts to seek out business partners and investors in the ASEAN market, and in Singapore in particular.
